Job Description

​The Center for Serve-Learn-Sustain is seeking an undergraduate graphic designer to work with our Visual Design GRA on our communications team.  The ideal student will have some graphic design experience, along with familiarity with design programs such as InDesign.  Our communications team is responsible for conceptualization and design of all print and online materials, as well as for our website content and social media.  Student applicants should also have some background in website design and management.  Please send your resume and some samples of your design work to Kris Chatfield at kchatfield30@gatech.edu

We are currently seeking an undergraduate or graduate student to work with Institute Diversity's Assistant Director of Administrative Operations to ensure the seamless daily operations of the division. 


The position will perform a variety of activities including, but not limited to:
•       Perform word processing, fax and copy documents.
•       File documents.
•       Receive and refer phone calls; greet and direct office visitors.
•       Sort and distribute mail.
•       Update basic databases.
•       Perform mail merges.
•       Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required qualifications:
•       Students must be available to work between the hours of 11am-2 pm during weekdays.
•       Excellent customer service (delivers on established timelines and follows up appropriately)

We are currently seeking an undergraduate student to work with Institute Diversity's Marketing and Event Coordinator II to continue building Institute Diversity as a thought leader in advancing a culture of inclusive excellence by coordinating events, symposia. and conferences.

The position will perform a variety of activities including, but not limited to:
•       Provide on-site event support as needed – pending student assistant's availability.
•       Assist in arranging catering requirements, room reservations, facility set-up, etc.
•       Assist in updating event web pages within Institute Diversity websites, such as building registration forms, updating current event listings, and creating landing pages.
•       Assist in listing upcoming events in the Campus Calendar.
•       Help create attendee packets for large-scale events.
•       Perform related duties as assigned.

​This role will assist with various administrative tasks in the office of the Associate Vice President-Human Resources. Football Game Days

Job Description

Georgia Tech Athletic Hospitality is responsible for managing the premium seating areas for Georgia Tech's 2017 Home Football Games. These premium seating areas include: Bobby Dodd Stadium Suites, Tech Terrace, Club Lounge and Letterwinner's Lounge. Listed below are the various positions that will need to be filled. Each candidate should be able to fill any of the positions if needed.

Employer: The Colonnade Group – Georgia Tech Athletic Hospitality
Work: Part-Time
Hours: About 8 hours per game, ALL 6 home football games (additional opportunities will be available for a select few)
Rate of Pay: $9.00 per hour

SCHEDULE:
September 9th - Jacksonville St
September 23rd - Pittsburgh
September 30th - North Carolina
October 21st - Wake Forest
November 11th - Virginia Tech
November 25th – Georgia

QUALIFICATIONS:
•       Must be able to work ALL home football games as scheduled, including some nights and holidays.
•       Past experience working in premium seating (preferred but not required)
•       Must have a team-first, self-second attitude.
•       Must be friendly & approachable.
•       Must enjoy meeting and interacting with diverse groups of people.
•       Must demonstrate exceptional skills in customer relations, communications and problem-solving
•       Must demonstrate willingness to go above and beyond to ensure a world-class experience for our guests, but also an ability to implement and uphold the policies in place.
•       Must be able to stand for long periods of time with limited breaks.
•       Must attend pre-season orientation.
•       Must attend pre-game meetings. Showing up late or not at all will warrant termination.
•       Must wear khakis, close-toed shoes, and issued GTAH polo and name tag.
•       Must conduct yourself in an appropriate, respectful and professional manner when communicating with GTAH Director & Intern, and other team members (via phone calls, GroupMe posts, e-mails, text messages, etc.)
•       Must be willing to assist other team members with post-game duties.
•       Must have reliable transportation.
