What kind of work do Student Team Members do?
Each area of the Student Center offers unique opportunities for students to build their professional skill set (while still having fun)!

 
GENERAL 
Guest Services Manager (GSM) | Guest Services Managers (GSM) provide a full range of building services to meet student, campus department, and visitor needs.
 
Administration Office Desk Attendant | Administrative Office Desk Attendants are the first line of communication with incoming visitors, phone calls, and inquiries regarding the Student Center. 

 
Information Desk Attendant | As the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors, Information Desk Attendants provide information about the Student Center, Institute events, general campus questions, and directions . 

 
Phantom Secret Shopper | Phantom Secret Shoppers help us to assess the quality of service by being trained and assigned to "shop" in various areas of the Student Center and provide feedback.

 
AUXILIARY SERVICES OPERATIONS 
Office Assistant | Assistants in the office of Auxiliary Services Operations primarily provide business office support, including refund processing, accounting projects, and various​ administrative tasks.


HISTORIC ACADEMY OF MEDICINE
Guest Services Manager | Similar to the Student Center Guest Services Managers, GSMs in the Academy of medicine provide building support and event services to the Georgia Tech community as well as the corporate and social sector of Atlanta.

 
Reservations Assistant | The Reservations Assistant coordinates with the building management to answer reservation inquires, assist with event logistics and process event paperwork.
 

 
 
PAPER & CLAY
Studio Attendant | With an artistic attitude and excellent customer service skills, Studio Attendants run the daily operations of our art studio, Paper & Clay, where they help the Georgia Tech community explore their creative side!​


POSTAL SERVICES

Postal Assistant | Our Postal Assistants assist the campus community with parcel pick-up, deliver mail to student mailboxes, and process campus mail.

 
Post Office Mail Processor | By ensuring that all departmental mail has the necessary forms and postage, our mail processors help keep campus mail running smoothly!

 

 
TECH REC

​Tech Rec Attendant | Attendants assist with customer needs, group rentals, and equipment maintenance in one of the coolest places on campus!

 
Gaming Manager | In a dual role of equipment manager and event planner, the Gaming Manager ensures that Tech Rec is always ready for fun!

 
​Tech Rec Marketing Assistant | The Marketing Assistant helps market the services offered by Tech Rec to Georgia Tech’s departments and student organizations.

 
UNDER THE COUCH​
Under the Couch Attendant | Working with both the Musician's Network and the Student Center​ staff, Under the Couch Attendants help maintain the space and act as event staff during performances.
