New Event Guidelines and Social Distance Capacities

In an effort to promote the safety of our guests, the following will be implemented for all meetings and events in our spaces:

Event Safety Guidelines |

  • All campus visitors and attendees at campus events will be expected to follow Georgia Tech health and safety guidelines:
    • Self-monitoring symptoms with the daily self-checklist.
    • Wearing a face covering while indoors, unless you are actively eating or drinking.
    • Following six-foot distancing, hand washing, and other guidance from the Tech Moving Forward website.
  • Event hosts are required to maintain an accurate attendance list for each event in our spaces. The attendance log must be maintained either digitally or physically by the event host for four weeks after the conclusion of the event.
  • We will have increased time between events to allow the Custodial Services team to properly disinfect after each event.
  • The spaces will be closed daily from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. for additional disinfection. If you have a reservation during this time frame, our team will be in contact with you shortly to reschedule your meeting or event.
  • Following the guidance of the CDC, GDPH, and GT Special Events, we have updated our capacities for all available set ups that allow us to maintain proper distancing during events. We understand this may affect your event planning, feel free to contact the Event Services team at screservations@mail.gatech.edu or at 404-894-2805 for more information.
