Campanile Plaza

This iconic landmark will be reconfigured to improve the accessibility around the site. Its water feature will be updated to become more sustainable and safe so that the beloved campus traditions that occur in that space will not only continue, but be improved.

Little Theater

This 150-seat theater will include a projection system, wood floors, and telescoping seats that can be pushed back to clear the floor when necessary.

Tech Rec

Tech Rec, one of the original components of the Student Center, will be significantly upgraded to let in more natural light and to make the best use of the space. The billiards lounge will move to the front of the space, leading to the 6 lane bowling alley behind. This space will also have a new dining concept attached that will operate later into the night so you can continue to study hard and play harder!

Please note that Tech Rec will be offline during Phase II while the Student Center is under renovation.

Food Court

The reconfigured 2nd floor food court will have much more room and natural light than ever before, as well as outdoor seating options. Dining concepts for this space are still being determined.

Student Organization Pocket Porch

With the best views of the new Campanile plaza, the pocket porches on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the south wing are sure to be a favorite for students, staff, alumni, and visitors.

Student Organization Space

The 2nd and 3rd floors of the south wing will be primarily student organization support space, including the Student Engagement office, the LGBTQIA Resource Center, the Student Government Association office, and additional copy services, storage, and meeting spaces.

Large Theater

This 298-seat theater comes equipped with a full stage, back of house, and stadium-style seating. In addition, an adjacent meeting room has been designated to serve as a green room when necessary.
