Hi, we are a lab of Digital Media at GT. We are looking for a Content Analyst to conduct in-depth analysis of VR fitness games. The role involves playing and evaluating 10-20 popular VR fitness games, documenting key features, and providing insights to help inform the design of our next-generation VR fitness experience. This is a short-term project ideal for VR enthusiasts with a passion for fitness and a keen eye for detail.
**Responsibilities:**
- Play and record gameplay of 10-20 VR fitness games using your own VR device (we will pay for the VR fitness applications).
- Analyze and document key aspects of each game, such as:
- Gameplay mechanics
- User interaction methods
- Visual styles
- Strengths and weaknesses
- etc
- Create a detailed reference report summarizing findings and identifying trends or innovative features that can inspire future designs.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure findings are integrated into our development process.
**Qualifications:**
- Must own a VR device (Meta Quest/Oculus is preferred).
- Comfortable with extended VR usage and not prone to motion sickness.
- Experience with VR gaming (familiarity with fitness or health-related games is a plus).

Job Description: This full-time summer internship supports the logistic deployment for all of Housing and Residence Life's operations. The multi-functional team serves in an adaptive, capacity-building role within the larger department, providing service support and quality assurance for a wide variety of projects including facility inspections and resident services content creation. Team members will have the opportunity to develop critical skills and competencies in maintenance and repair work, large-scale event logistics, customer service, and how the Department of Housing and Residence Life functions behind the scenes.
Responsibilities:
Plan and execute assigned projects, establish milestones and project parameters, and set procedures to accomplish unit objectives. This could include responding to project requests, generating tasks, and assessing effectiveness.
Successfully manage execution of concurrent projects.
Communicate the progress of assigned tasks and projects.
Effectively pilot projects; which might include assigning tasks, peer accountability, and leading small teams.
Engage in creative problem solving.
Provide service support to residence life operations.
Provide support to cross-functional initiatives.
Attend and participate in meetings and required trainings.
Communicate effectively with manager, teammates, and other stakeholders.
Time breakdown: 20% team meetings and trainings, 30% project management, 50% project execution and support
Requirements:
Must be in good standing (academic, conduct, financial) with the Institute.
At least one semester experience living on campus or comparative experience.
Not enrolled in summer classes.
No additional student staff positions held for the duration of employment.
Successful candidates will possess strong adaptability, initiative, execution, and communication skills. Team members will be expected and encouraged to integrate basic project management principles into their work. Performance evaluations commend initiative and willingness to actively support team projects.
Working Schedule:
Start date May 5th, 2025. End date August 22nd, 2025.
Average 40 hours per week.
9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Evening and weekend work will be occasionally necessary.
Majority in-person work.
Planned time off must be submitted for approval by May 31st. No time off will be approved for the month of August.
